Old Friend from Childhood

Dear Marsha,

Here’s a dream for you.  I dreamed:

I was with a friend, she was an old friend from childhood. Leslie. I was on the toilet which also had a bed beside it.  She was on it.  I remember thinking she had an awful mess in her home because there was a half-eaten spare-rib and small corn on the cob on the floor next to the toilet.

I remember thinking my house was not nearly as messy as I thought.

She was talking on and on about her mental illness and suffering.

Then, we were walking to her car. She looked at her phone and said, “Friggin Raisin.”  Then I realized she was saying the name of her ex-husband, Reyes. We got in the car and I sat in the back seat. She began texting and driving, so I panicked and told her to please stop.  She refused. I got so afraid I told her to pull over so I could get out. She left me by this blue bridge I could walk over.  I lived just right over that bridge.

What is the meaning of this dream?

Dear Olive,

Let’s look at some of these symbols.

 

An old childhood friend = something/someone alongside you in your childhood

Leslie = from the low meadow / remembered (see The Name Book by Dorothy Astoria)

Toilet = a place to get rid of toxins and wastes in your life

Bed = a place of privacy (Micah 2:1); those in relationship with (of like mind with) (Is 57:7)

Meat = mature spiritual learning (Gen 9:3, Heb 5:12-14)

Spare-rib = sparse mature spiritual learning

Corn = amount of God’s seed

Floor = foundation

House = you, your personal life and relationships

Walking = going in the direction of

Car =ministry/work

Phone = spiritual line of communication (uses “air” waves – air=spiritual)

Raisin = dried-up “fruit” (results)

Ex-husband = one used to be in close/intimate covenant with

Reyes = counselor (see The Name Book by Dorothy Astoria)

Back seat = not in control

Texting and driving = carelessly in control

Bridge = a transition period

Blue = depression

Now, just for fun, let’s substitute the symbolic meanings into the dream. This is going to read very sloppy and be difficult.  If you don’t want to go through this process, skip on down to the “paraphrasing”.

I was with something/someone alongside me in my childhood. From the low meadow / remembered. I was on the place to get rid of toxins and wastes in my life which also had a place of privacy/those in relationship with (of like mind with) beside it.  Something/someone alongside me in my childhood was on it.  I remember thinking something/someone alongside me in my childhood had an awful mess in the home because there was sparse mature spiritual learning and small amount of God’s seed on the foundation next to a place to get rid of toxins and wastes in my life.

I remember thinking my personal life and relationships was not nearly as messy as I thought.

Something/someone alongside me in my childhood was talking on and on about something/someone alongside me in my childhood’s mental illness and suffering.

Then, something/someone alongside me in my childhood and I were going in the direction of something/someone alongside me in my childhood work. Something/someone alongside me in my childhood looked at something/someone alongside me in my childhood spiritual line of communication and said, dried-up results.  Then I realized something/someone alongside me in my childhood was saying the name of one used to be in close/intimate covenant with something/someone alongside me in my childhood. I sat not in control. Something/someone alongside me in my childhood began carelessly in control, so I panicked and told to please stop.  Something/someone alongside me in my childhood refused. I got so afraid I told her to pull over so I could get out. She left me by this depression transition period I could walk over.  I lived just right over that transition period.

 

To paraphrase this, this interpretation might be saying:

You are being “visited” by an “old friend from childhood (memories of suffering leading to depression). This happens while you are in a place of rest (bed) and a place of getting rid of toxic/wasteful things (toilet) from your past.  You realize this brings remembrances of mess and sparseness of the “meaty” teachings (spare-rib half-eaten) of Jesus and it brings small amounts of things to grow on (seed=corn).  You begin to believe your current situation is not as bad as you thought when you compare it to the past. You are in the back seat (not actively choosing this direction).  You dislike the way this is going, so you “get off the ride”. You are left in a depressing transition time but know that you just need to walk through it.

 

A more simple paraphrase might be:

You are remembering suffering from your childhood and how you didn’t get strong teachings of Jesus.  In looking back, you realize your current situation is not as bad as you thought.  It’s depressing to think back on these things and it puts you in a depression for a time until you can drop it again.

 

 

 

 

 

Follow GPS or Not

Dear Marsha,

I had the following dream.  What do you think it means?

I was driving in a van with my family to get to the airport.  It was kind of dark.  It was uphill.  I was following a GPS and turned right. 

 At the top of the hill I stopped.  I could see the airport ahead and below.  The GPS said to “go forward” but I was at a cliff and if I went forward I would drive off the cliff. I knew I would be in trouble if I followed the GPS.

Dear G.S.,

I love GPS’s.  Don’t know how I would get around in all the strange cities I find myself in, without them.  But that is reality.  Let’s look at this dream and look at the dream symbols metaphorically.

The symbols might be:

Driving = in control of/in charge of

Van= family unit

My family = your actual family

Airport = waiting while being made ready for ministry or work or a way of getting somewhere

Dark/dusk = often portrays “plans the enemy” has for you

Uphill = a struggle

GPS = Global positioning System, the logic of the world, the earthly (global) position

Cliff = destruction

 

If you put these symbols together in the dream, the dream is saying:

You are in control of a family situation/journey to get somewhere. It’s a struggle.  If you take the earthly position it will be destructive (take you off a cliff). 

The inference from this dream is that you need to use the “spiritual” position instead of the “earthly position in leading your family forward.  Believe this is telling you to pray, ask ‘What would Jesus do?’, and go forward following Christ.

Tiger Wants to Devour Me

 

Hello Marsha,

Last night I dreamed the following:

 

A tiger came to devour me. He didn’t. Instead, he kept me afraid for a long time. He was like a tiger, but also a man. We spent time together in what seemed like a living room and I kept planning my escape. I managed to sneak away a fork and put it in my back pocket. I kept it there for when I saw that I would need it. I imagined I could use it as a weapon and poke out an eye or something the minute he attacked me. 

          I managed to escape for a while, but he pursued me.

 

Do you think this dream has meaning?

          Tiger = fierce attack, false authority, evil

          Devour me = destroy me

          Spent time together in living room = spent time in an area of your life

          Fork = junction, separating away from

          Back pocket = hidden and ready to use if necessary

 

After inserting the symbolic meanings in the dream, and paraphrasing, the interpretation could be as follows:
There has been a fierce attack on you, possibly by a false authority/or from someone with authority over you that has come at you.  This is someone you have spent time with, in an area of your life.  You are very aware of the problem and contemplate ways to escape it. You decide you can always separate away from the person if necessary, and are ready to do this, if need be.   Even though you are able to avert the attacks for a while, it just keeps coming.

 

Like your last dream titled “Boss said Too Cold” this dream also describes a season of you enduring betrayal by fierce attack from someone who is supposed to be an authority over you.  This also speaks of your desire to escape the situation.

Again, I believe the Lord is giving you these dreams as He is wanting to do some inner healing in you in this area of life.

Here is my dream.

I was driving a full size Toyota Pickup Truck with a V8 in it.  It was running very rough and smoking.  Someone suggested I drop a V6 from a Toyota Car in it to solve the problem.  I did it and the truck ran smoothly.

Looking at the Symbols:

Driving = something you are in control or

Pickup Truck = ministry/work that can handle rough terrain

V8 = a large force of power

V6 = a smaller force of power

Applying these symbols, I believe this says:

A ministry/work that you are in charge of can handle hard times and rough terrain.  But there is too much force (it’s overpowering) and subsequently it’s not going well.  Cut back on the force (power) going into it and it will go much smoother.

This might mean, if your ministry is dealing with people, try a more gentle approach.

Last night I dreamed:

I was in a house that was also my school.  It was cold. My boss was in her office and she was walking out saying it was cold and she was going to leave.

School = Place of spiritual learning ( Mt 9:13, Heb 5:12, 6:1)

Cold = without warmth or life (Mt 24:12)

Boss = Authority over you / one in power over you (Lev 25:6, 25:40, Eph 6:5-9)

 

These symbols substituted in the dream says:

I was in my life and relationships that was also my place of spiritual learning.  It was without warmth or life.  My authority over me / the one in power over me walked out saying it was without warmth or life and was going to leave.

To paraphrase this:

My life and relationships (which included my spiritual learning) was without real life and warmth. Even those I looked to for support/guidance/mentorship abandoned me.

 

Side Note:  I find this a sad dream.  It speaks of a past without warmth.  I believe the Lord may have given you this dream to help you identify the past problems you have had to overcome (or are overcoming).  I encourage you to embrace who you are now, look clearly on what you have had to overcome, and try to forgive those who have let you down in the past.

May God’s healing love be poured over you.

Brother before a Judge

Dear Marsha,

About ten years ago I received the following dream and it has stuck out in my mind all this time. Do you know what it is about?

My brother was standing before a judge.  I was in the courtroom sitting where the “mother usually sits” because his mother was not there.

The judge turned towards me and I said, “Sister,” when the judge looked at me.

The judge says: “You must be ashamed of him for carrying a concealed weapon.”

I’m surprised. I didn’t realize my brother had been carrying a gun.

Marsha here.  Analyzing the symbols:

Brother: natural brother, brother-in-Christ (2 Samuel 20:9), or one who is “like a brother” (2 Samuel 1:26)

Judge: God (Genesis 15:14, John 5:27-30)

Sister: natural sister, sister-in-Christ (Matthew 12:50)

Concealed weapon: a tool to hurt or threaten others that is not obvious

Gun: exert power over

 

Interpretation:

Your brother is exerting powerful control (gun) and you are not realizing it.

 

Amplification:

In this dream, I believe the Lord (perfect judge) is saying someone the dreamer (sister) considers a “brother” (either her actual brother or a brother-in-Christ) is controlling the dreamer (sister) in a way the dreamer doesn’t realize. This control is not healthy or good as the Lord (judge) says it is shameful.

 

Side note from Marsha:

Look at men in your life (those in a brotherly role towards you). Are you being influenced in an oppressive or controlling way?  The Lord may be pointing this out to you so you are aware of it (as the dream states you have not been aware of the bad influence).  Possibly the Lord wants you to stop allowing others to influence you improperly.

 

 

Already Sent an Airplane

Dream #2.

 

 I had just woke up from the first dream and then as soon as a laid back down I started dreaming again. This dream was more pleasant than the first dream.

 

In my second dream I was going somewhere driving west on some street and was about to make a left turn. It was a lot of activity. I then saw a black police SUV that was in the middle of the street trying to stop traffic. The SUV was on the divider in the middle of the street.

 

All of a sudden I saw all of these men on bicycles looking like they were in a marathon and everyone just froze. Everything and Everyone froze!! It was minimum activity at this point. Then I saw a guy that was not frozen and asked him what is going on?? He never responded. 

 

All of a sudden I was in a house it looked strange. It wasn’t a nice house it was weird and kind of creepy. I then saw three windows and in each one of the windows I saw the word live, live, live and then when I turned towards the front of the house I saw this big window it almost looked like it was the front door with a big window inside it. In that window it said LIFE.

 

Then all of a sudden I was taken down this very narrow wooden hallway. I was thinking oh wow, I am not going to be able to get through here. I began to fly through this narrow hallway and was thinking oh God I am going to hurt my left arm. Somehow I was able to get my left arm in front of me and continued to fly down the hallway in superman form. There was a wooden door at the end and I flew through it into a room and the room was so beautiful and elegant. Everything in it was a mauve color. All of the furnishing, carpet the curtains etc was mauve... I saw the wind blowing through the soft mauve sheer curtains. I flew towards them and flew through them and before I knew it, I was in another area of the house. I didn’t know where I was in the house but TD JAKES was there. He was talking to me and said that I have been asking God for an Airplane. He had been praying for an Airplane because he needed one to get around to preach. He said to me but God keep telling me to quit asking for the Airplane because He has already provided it for me. I was getting ready to comment and say to him, (that’s our FATHER), but what I said to him was Bishop Jakes you have helped a lot of us. I said to him I use to binge watch some of your videos. I had not at that point watched his videos in a while, but I wanted to encourage him and let him know that he has helped a lot of people.

 

I ended up in another room and he came out with 12 small mauve roses. It was not the whole rose stem, it was just the head of the roses. It was 12 of them and he gave them to me. I didn’t know or understand why he was giving them to me but he handed them to me.

 

I then laid the 12 roses on the table and walked into another room in the house. This house was sooooo pretty. The room that I walked into was very beautiful. It almost looked like the same creepy house that I was in at the beginning of the dream but this time it was absolutely gorgeous.  As I looked at the wall that was before me, I looked at the right end of the wall and noticed some vertical cracks in the wall. I kept looking at the cracks in the wall. It looked like it spelled a word. If you were just looking at the wall, you would only think it was just some cracks in the walk but as I looked very closely I saw JESUS name carved into the wall. I remembered smiling and feeling peaceful when I was able to see JESUS name carved into the wall of this house..

 

That is the end of my second dream!!

We interpreted your first dream about God reminding you to fly….so now let’s do this one.  To interpret the second dream, I am just going to use just one method, however you can play around with all 3 methods of interpretation:  

 

Method 1. Look at “First Couple of Sentences” and look at “Last Couple of Sentences.”  This will often tell the essence of the dream.
Method 2. Find the Focus, Sub Focus, and Details.  Remember the Focus and Sub-focus tells the essence of the dream and the details give clarity.
Method 3. Substitute the symbolic meanings in the dream and put it together.

 

I will use Method 3, and substitute some symbolic meanings into the dream.  I’ve prayed that the Lord reveal the proper meanings and interpretation to us.  So first, let’s look at the symbol meanings.

Now, let’s substitute the meanings into the dream and see what happens.

Everything and everyone unable to go forward and without warmth  (froze)!! It was minimum activity at this point. Then I saw a guy that was not frozen and tried to get answers (asked him what is going on)? He never responded. 

 

All of a sudden I was in a  area of living not of God (house looked strange). It wasn’t a nice area of living not of God it was weird and kind of creepy. I then saw (God-Trinity) three revelation (windows) and in each one of the revelation (windows) I saw the word live, live, live and then when I turned towards the front of the house I saw this big revelation (windows) it almost looked like it was the front choice (Door) with a big revelation (windows) inside it. In that revelation (windows) it said LIFE.

 

Then all of a sudden I was taken down this very narrow things of the world/earthly things (wooden) period or area of transition (hallway). I was thinking oh wow,  difficult (I am not able to get through). I began to move in high spiritual activity of God through this narrow period or area of transition (hallway) and was thinking oh God I am going to hurt my things born to do (left) power (arm). Somehow I was able to get my things born to do (left) power (arm) in front of me and continued to move in high spiritual activity of God down the period or area of transition in supernatural (superman) form. There was a things of the world/earthly things (wooden) choice (door) at the end and I moved in high spiritual activity of God through it into a room and the room was so beautiful and elegant. Everything in it was a mauve color. All of the furnishing, carpet the curtains etc was mauve.. I saw the Holy Spirit (wind) blowing through the soft mauve sheer curtains. Leader(s) of non-denominational mega church of God was talking to me and said that I have been asking God for an large ministry active in high spiritual activity (airplane).  Leader(s) of non-denominational mega church of God had been praying for an large ministry active in high spiritual activity because leader(s) of non-denominational mega church of God needs to get around to preach. Leader(s) of non-denominational mega church of God said God keeps telling me to quit asking for the large ministry active in high spiritual activity (airplane) because He has already provided it for me. I was getting ready to comment and say to him, (that’s our FATHER), but what I said to him was leader(s) of non-denominational mega church of God you have helped a lot of us. I said to leader(s) of non-denominational mega church of God that I used to binge watch some of your videos. I had not at that point watched leader(s) of non-denominational mega church of God videos in a while, but I wanted to encourage leader(s) of non-denominational mega church of God and let leader(s) of non-denominational mega church of God know that leader(s) of non-denominational mega church of God has helped a lot of people.

It was not the whole Christ stem, it was just the leadership (head) of apostles for Christ. It was apostolic and he gave it to me. I didn’t know or understand why he was giving it to me but he handed it to me.

 

I then laid the apostolic Christ  gift tabled it (on the table) and walked into another room in the house. This house was sooooo pretty. The room that I walked into was very beautiful. It almost looked like the same creepy house that I was in at the beginning of the dream but this time it was absolutely gorgeous.  As I looked at the wall that was before me, I looked at the right end of the wall and noticed some vertical cracks in the wall. Interpretation:
You are attempting to move into things of the Lord you were born to do.  At this same time you see authority from the world/or the enemy that is stopping this forward direction for you and for others. You are given revelation to see the Lord wants us to “LIVE.”  You also see through revelation that many individuals try to minister or work under their own power, but they are really frozen from going forward. You seek counsel/answers but get none.

 

 During a time of life transition (possibly in areas of job/health/etc. – worldly issues) you are having a difficult time.  During this time, you fear the power to move in things you are born to do (left arm), will not be in front of you.  During this time you move to higher spiritual levels (fly) and get through the difficult time, finding the Holy Spirit (wind) there.  You are a little confused about what area of the church / life to find a ministry that is actively moving high in the spirit (airplane), but in relation to the non-denominational church of the one and only God, you find you are already there.  You are given an apostolic-type gift (12 roses) which you “table” or lay down for a time.  You view walls or barriers surrounding the church and find it has some appearances of worldly issues, but  in spite of that, there are upward (God) openings (cracks) and Jesus is carved on it.

God Reminding Me I can Fly

 

July 25, 2016:  Here are my old dreams of October 22, 2014 (please help I know these two dreams mean something for my life)

 

Good morning Marsha,

I trust that your day is going well!!

I was referred to you by Graham Cooke’s Ministry!

I dream a lot and I have been asking Holy Spirit what do my dreams mean? I also told him that I was open to Him sending someone into my life who can help me.. This particular dream won’t leave me I have been constantly asking God for the interpretation. I am trusting that He has finally led me to you to give me the interpretation. Help please…

On October 22, 2014,

I had Two dreams back to back.. They were very vivid… Here is the first one:

1st Dream

The first dream was extremely demonic. Everything in the dream was demonic. I was running into so much demonic activity on ever hand..

In the whole dream I had soooo many demons coming after me, but each time in the dream God kept reminding me that I could fly. Every time that thought came to my mind I just started to fly. In the dream God kept constantly reminding me that I could fly. Every time that I was reminded of that, I flew and soar so high above the demons.. It was like I was so high above them that at one point getting close to the end of the dream I remembered  turning a corner and I saw all of this beautiful water, trees  and sand.

 

I was thinking finally something beautiful but when I got to that part, I remembered seeing all of these people. It was not a lot of people but it was a fairly good amount of people. Then I realized that all of them were demons too. They all start turning into demons and coming after me.

 

God once more reminded me that I could fly.  I began to fly far above them but then it looked like a close friend of mine name JOSIE was with me but she was still on the ground. I was thinking to myself she needs to fly, she needs to fly!! I wasn’t sure if she could fly but I heard a voice say help her!! So I reached down and grabbed her. I wasn’t sure that if I reached down and grabbed her, if I would fall down from the sky. But when I reached down and grabbed her I pulled her up to where I was. The demons could not get to her.  Initially they were so close to getting her but I was able to pull her up in time with me. I was soooo high up in the air. So at this point we were flying above and it was so peaceful in the sky where we were.

 

All of a sudden we saw a house and ran into a man. He looked like some famous actor.  Once we arrived in His house everything seem to be normal. We thought this was a house of safety. Everything really really seemed to be normal. We then got into his car and he took us somewhere. It almost seemed like it was the grand finale. When I arrived at this new place again everyone seemed normal and then I saw this little baby. It looked like  this baby was supposed to be me when I was a little girl. I was looking at the baby and thinking to myself, is that supposed to be me when I was a little girl?? When I looked at her closely I said NO that’s not me. She looked like a little chucky doll but in girl form. She had on baby girl clothing but when I kept looking at her she looked more like a chucky doll in a girl form. The baby was being used as a distraction.

 

When I stood up I was standing on the ground and all I could see was that I was surrounded by a whole lot of demons again. I was thinking oh my God this is the grand finale and it was like the demons were saying we got you! All of a sudden I was reminded again that you can fly. I went straight up into the air just like Jesus did when he left the disciples. When I flew straight up in the sky, they were coming after me. I didn’t fly up as high as I did before so they were still on the same level that I was on.
I noticed that the man (the actor) that took me to this place begin to come after me so strong. He was trying to use Jesus Name. He was trying to fool me but I could see all of this demonic activity. He was trying to make me think that he was on my side by saying Jesus Name. On the inside of me I was saying you can’t say Jesus Name!! I then said to him, You can’t say Jesus name and as soon as I said that he turned into a demon. Then I was reminded again FLY. I flew up really high and was able to get away from all of the demons! Throughout the whole dream I was flying getting away from demons.. God just kept reminding me that I could fly. I flew so high and soared way above them and then I woke up!

Marsha here.  You sent me two wonderful dreams.  I’m going to break them down separately and respond to both, but only the first one today.  The first dream I will title:  God Reminding Me I can Fly. 

Let’s do this the long way this time to give readers an opportunity to see the different ways to interpret. There are 3 wonderful methods to use to obtain the interpretation.

Okay, for learning purposes, let’s start trying out the 3 different methods to interpret.

Method 1. Look at “First Couple of Sentences” and look at “Last Couple of Sentences.”  This will often tell the essence of the dream. 

 

                The first couple of sentences say: I am running into demonic activity. God is reminding me I can fly.

 

The last couple of sentences say: I was flying, getting away from demons. God just kept reminding me that I could fly.

 

The interpretation of these applying symbols:  I am running into demonic activity and God is reminding me that I can deal with it by coming into a high spiritual activity of God.

 

Wow.  This is the essence of the first dream. Let’s see what Method 2. shows us.

 

Method 2. Find the Focus, Sub Focus, and Details.  Remember the Focus and Sub-focus tells the essence of the dream and the details give clarity.

 

The Focus is “who or what” is the “star” of the dream? Who/what does the dream rotate around?”   The Sub-focuses are “primary issues in the dream.” Without these issues the dream would cease to exist.

 

The Details describe, give reasons for actions, define the degree of the problem, etc.

 

Let’s find these and include their symbolic meaning.

 

Focus: The Focus of this dream is the dreamer “You”.


Sub-focus(es): The Sub-focuses of this dream are:

d.       Turned into demon (realized is really demonic/not of God)

4.       Baby (new work, new ministry, new beginning)
a.       Supposed to be me (trying to fool me that is my identity)
b.       Not me (this is not who God made me to be)
c.         Used as a distraction (used to keep from doing/being who God made me to be)

Okay, the interpretation with the details added is:

 

You are being reminded by God that you can go to high spiritual activity when being confronted by the enemy (demonic attack). Some of this attack of the enemy is in the form of trying to convince you things are “good” when they are not. These things include areas of living, how other people are representing themselves, and your own identity in who you are in Christ.   You also have an ability to help others (especially those in your inner circle) to reach a higher level of spiritual activity.

 

Now, let’s try this using Method 3. – inserting the symbolic meanings.

 

Method 3. Substitute the symbolic meanings in the dream and put it together

Dream Including Symbols:

In the whole dream I had soooo many enemy making me feel harassed and/or threatened (demons coming after me), but each time in the dream God kept reminding me that I could seek high spiritual activity God is calling me to (Fly). Every time that thought came to my mind I just started to seek high spiritual activity God is calling me to (fly). In the dream God kept constantly reminding me that I could seek high spiritual activity God is calling me to (fly). Every time that I was reminded of that, I seek high spiritual activity God is calling me to (flew) and soar so high above the demons. It was like I was so high above them that at one point getting close to the end of the dream I remembered turning a corner and I saw all of this beautiful water, trees and sand.

 

I was thinking finally something beautiful but when I got to that part, I remembered seeing all of these people. It was not a lot of people but it was a fairly good amount of people. Then I realized that all of them were demons too. They all start turning into enemy making me feel harassed and/or threatened (demons and coming after me).

 

God once more reminded me that I could seek high spiritual activity God is calling me to (fly).  I began to seek high spiritual activity God is calling me to (fly) far above them but then it looked like friends in my inner circle (a close friend of mine name JOSIE) was with me but friends in my inner circle (she) was still on the ground. I was thinking to myself (friends in my inner circle she) needs to seek high spiritual activity God is calling them to (fly), friends in my inner circle (she) needs to seek high spiritual activity God is calling her to (fly)!! I wasn’t sure if friends in my inner circle (she) could seek high spiritual activity God is calling them to (fly) but I heard a voice say help friends in my inner circle (her)!! So I reached down and grabbed friends in my inner circle (her). I wasn’t sure that if I reached down and grabbed friends in my inner circle (her), if I would fall down from the sky. But when I reached down and grabbed friends in my inner circle (her) I pulled friends in my inner circle (her) up to where I was. The demons could not get to friends in my inner circle(her).  Initially they were so close to getting friends in your inner circle

 

(her) but I was able to pull friends in my inner circle(her) up in time with me. I was soooo high up in the air. So at this point we were seek high spiritual activity God is calling us to (flying) above and it was so peaceful in the sky where we were.

 

All of a sudden we saw a house and ran into a man. He looked like some well known to the masses of people (famous) an act, a “poser,” a false persona, something not real(actor).  Once we arrived in His house everything appears to be good (seem to be normal). We thought this was a house of safety. Everything really really appears to be good (seemed to be normal). We then got into his car and he took us somewhere. It almost seemed like it was the grand finale. When I arrived at this new place again everyone appears to be good (seemed normal) and then I saw this little new beginning, new work(baby). It looked like this new beginning, new work (baby) was trying to be put upon me (supposed to be me) when I was a little girl. I was looking at the new beginning, new work (baby) and thinking to myself, is that trying to be put upon me (supposed to be me when I was immature (little girl)?? When I looked at her closely I said NO that’s this is not who God made me to be (not me). She looked like a little chucky doll but in girl form. She had on new beginning, new work (baby) girl coverings (clothing) but when I kept looking at her she looked more like a false and full of evil intent(chucky doll) in a girl form. The new beginning, new work (baby) was being used to keep from doing/being who God made me to be (as a distraction).

 

When I stood up I was able to stand firm (standing on the ground) and all I could see was that I was surrounded by a whole lot of demons again. I was thinking oh my God this is the grand finale and it was like the enemy making me feel harassed and/or threatened (demons were saying we got you)! All of a sudden I was reminded again that you can seek high spiritual activity God is calling me to (fly). I sought high spiritual activity God is calling me to (flew straight up into the air) just like Jesus did when he left the disciples. When I seek high spiritual activity God is calling me to (flew) straight up in the sky, enemy making me feel harassed and/or threatened (they were coming after me). I didn’t seek high spiritual activity God is calling me to (fly) up as high as I did before so they were still on the same level that I was on.

 

I noticed that an act, a “poser,” a false persona, something not real (the actor) that took me to this place begin to come after me so strong. He was trying to use Jesus Name. He was trying to fool me but I could see all of this demonic activity. He was trying to make me think that he was on my side by saying Jesus Name. On the inside of me I was saying you can’t say Jesus Name!! I then said to him, You can’t say Jesus’ name and as soon as I said that he turned into a demon. Then I was reminded again seek high spiritual activity God is calling me to (fly). I seek high spiritual activity God is calling me to (flew) up really high and was able to get away from all of the demons! Throughout the whole dream I was seek high spiritual activity God is calling me to (flying getting away from demons). God just kept reminding me that I could seek high spiritual activity God is calling me to (fly). I seek high spiritual activity God is calling me to (flew) so high and soared way above them and then I woke up!

 

Interpretation

 

You are being reminded by God that you can seek higher spiritual levels in dealing with the demonic enemy/demonic attack, especially when the enemy is trying to convince you things are “good” and of God, when they are not. These things include areas of living, how other people are representing themselves, and your own self-identity in Christ.  Through high spiritual activity you have an ability to help others (especially those in your inner circle) to reach their own higher level of spiritual activity in God.

 

Notice the dream is VERY repetitious about seeking high spiritual levels that God is calling you to (flying). I think God is REALLY trying to get this point home to you!

 

This dream tells of your struggles against the enemy and how the Lord keeps telling you to deal with it by moving into higher spiritual levels.

Going Home

Hi Marsha,

I had the following dream. Will you shed some light on it? In real life, I grew up in Kentucky. My aunt and my grandma in my dream were Christian women I loved, but are both now deceased.

I was going home to my old home in Kentucky into a house full of people I didn’t know and my aunt was there, my grandma was there. I began hugging my aunt and told her how much I loved her. I said thank you for being a good cook.

 

 

I have to get ready to leave. At first I couldn’t find the bus station. I knew I had to find the bus stop. Along the way I saw an army convoy. There was also a horse and buggy (Amish style) and there was no one to direct me.  I knew I had to find the bus stop. 

 

 

I went to policemen and asked them where it was, but they ignored me.  Finally, an officer said he would take me there. 

 


Finally I found it. I walk up some stairs. I couldn’t open the door. Someone had to open it for me.

 

After I was on the bus, I knew I left some luggage there. In it was a pair of orthopedic heels.

The Sub-Focus(es) of the dream are problems or issues that the dream is dealing with.  Ask who or what, if it WASN’T in the dream would cause the dream to cease to exist?  In this case, I believe there are two Sub-Focuses.  1. Going home; 2. Finding the Bus Station.

 

 

So what does the two Sub-Focuses mean?  Going home might mean dealing with issues/teachings from the past.  Finding a bus station might mean finding a place where a large Christian movement or ministry can be gotten on or off.

 

 

Putting just the Focus and Sub-Focuses together, the interpretation might mean:

 

 The dreamer is dealing with teachings from the past and finding another large Christian ministry.

Dear Marsha

 

I had this dream about Hal.  Hal is my husband and he is a truck driver. Can you tell me what it might mean?

 

A friend of God.
 

 

Hal was in an auto parts store trying to buy a bottle of window cleaner. He didn’t have any cash. He explained to the clerk that though he had a paycheck for over $600 from a truck driving job, he didn’t have any personal checks with him or have a bank account in town. Since the local bank didn’t know him, they just wanted him to deposit the check and wait till it cleared before they would give him any cash.

 

The clerk at the store said, “It’s too bad you don’t have a credit card.”

 

Hal said, “Oh, I do have a credit card. Do you take credit cards?”

 

She said, “No.”

 

I woke up.
 

 

Dear Friend,

 

Dreams are so strange when you look at them in the natural.  Let’s look at the metaphors of this dream.
 

 

Auto = own life/work/ministry

 

Store = place of provision (1Kgs 9:19, 1Chro 27:25)

 

Buy = obtain through recompense (Rev 5:9, 3:18)

 

Bottle = vessel or supply (Exo 37:16, 2Sam 10:19)

 

Window = revelation / ability to “see” or understand (Gen 7:11, 8:2, 2 Kgs 7:2, 7:19)

 

Cash = recompense from humanistic endeavors

 

Clerk = one in charge of distribution

 

Pay check = recompense owed from works

Hal was in an = own life/work/ministry parts place of provision trying to obtain through recompense a vessel or supply of revelation / ability to “see” or understand cleaner. He didn’t have any recompense from humanistic endeavors. He explained to the one in charge of distribution that though he had a recompense owed from works for over mankind in large quantity from a large work in control of job, he didn’t have any personal “measurement of status” with him or have no input or investments made into local places of (banks) receiving God’s favor. Since the local bank didn’t know him, they just wanted him to deposit the personal “measurement of status” and wait till it cleared before they would give him any recompense from humanistic endeavors.

 

The clerk at the store said, “It’s too bad you don’t receive credit for.”

 

Hal said, “Oh, I do receive credit for. Do you take receive credit for?”

 

She said, “No.”

 

I woke up.
 

 

Okay… it looks to me that Hal is trying to obtain an increase in his ability to “see” or understand things, but he has not invested into the local places of God’s favor.  Can this be “church” maybe? 

 

Possibly this is telling Hal to receive ability to understand things of God, he needs to invest in God’s places near him.
