Dear Marsha,
I’m a 45 year man who loves the Lord. I had this horrible dream and I don’t know who the people in my dream are, but this is weird.
I dreamed:
I was working on the back side of my hand on a bump. I pinched it and a thread of blood appeared. It was very thin. I rubbed the back of my hand and a worm, the thickness of pencil lead, came out through the skin. Conversation was going on about this with other people around. Then, a big worm comes out of my hand through skin. It is white, looks like a grub worm. I knock it away.
I know I need to go to the doctor. I know I need to have my body detoxed and cleaned.
A woman, whose face is hard to see, with black, black, black hair is there. A man whose face I can’t see is there. A white man is there with dark-colored hair.
I wake up. It was awful.

Hand = work
Back side = something “behind” the scene of the work – in the “background”
Blood = hurt
Rubbed = worried/concerned
Worm = worming way into something
Grub worm = worming way into something and doing damage to people (the grass)
Doctor = Jesus, the Great Physician
Detoxed = cleaned and healed from a toxic situation
Woman with black, black, black hair = probably symbolic of a Jezebel spirit, evil spirit of control and manipulation that men and women operate out of.
Man whose face I can’t see = someone turning his “face” away -hiding his identity
White man with dark colored hair = good man, or a Caucasian man, with a “dark covering” over him–someone operating under dark authority.
I’m going to actually put these symbol meanings into the dream and see if they will help us figure this out. It’s chopped and hard to read, but it may bring the meaning of the dream out more clearly.

An evil spirit of control and manipulation is there. Someone turning his “face” away-hiding his identity is there. Someone operating under dark authority is there.

I would say this speaks of some happening at your workplace (your hand) that is hurtful to you. Since the blood is “thin” it might not be as hurtful to you, as to others, but you are feeling definite pain from it. This is a situation at work with something going on in the background. Someone has wormed their way into a situation and done damage. The Lord gave you this dream to tell you that you need to go to Jesus to heal from this hurt done to you and others, and to get rid of the bitterness from this toxic situation. Damage was done through a spirit of control and manipulation. Someone is hiding their identity and someone is operating under dark authority.

I had no idea this dream could be about my work, but this makes total sense. I work for a large corporation in a large city. Recently, a guy “wormed” his way into the facility. He pretended to be a friend of my co-workers and me. He worked there awhile. We spent time together. We found out this guy was sent by the head office and is implementing a program from the head office to do changes in our facility. These changes will get rid of some of us. I think my job is safe, but I very much feel betrayed by how this guy acted, and how he was pretending.

Again, I want to point you to your dream that your loving Father God gave you. Through this dream it appears the Lord is saying, indeed, this was wrong what was done to you and your coworkers, but He is telling you to seek Jesus’ for healing for yourself and to not let the hurt (maybe bitterness) go untreated.
